There is Empowerment When You Trust Your Gut Intuition

There is great empowerment when you trust your gut or your intuition . That gut instinct we all get that is way too easy to override.

Do you relate? Are there times when you have had a strong gut instinct and then not listened to it?

In this video I share a story  where I did listen to my intuition and it paid off.

There have been many times in my life when I did not listen to myself and then I wanted to kick myself later. Have you done this too?

A friend of mine shared this information after watching my video. “Interestingly, it was recently discovered that we actually have “intelligent” cells similar to brain cells in our gut that are responsible for much of our behavior. So absolutely, we need to learn how to listen to them.”

If that is correct and we have similar intelligent cells in our gut similar to our brain we do absolutely need to learn to trust our gut.

“There is a universal, intelligent, life force that exists within everyone and everything. It resides within each one of us as a deep wisdom, an inner knowing. We can access this wonderful source of knowledge and wisdom through our intuition, an inner sense that tells us what feels right and true for us at any given moment.”   Shakti Gawain

Or much more simply said….

“The only real valuable thing is intuition” Albert Einstein

In summary I encourage you to listen to your intuition and trust your gut.

I would love to hear your thoughts so please  leave me a comment below and let us know if you do trust your gut.

    Hello Sue,

    Great shout over here 🙂

Yeah there is an absolute power when we trust our gut intuition.

Sometimes it looks from the out side that that things is not our cup of tea, we can’t do that but some where inside
our senses and every thing tells us that we can do that if we wish to give it a try.

Good one over here, I would be sharing this among my friends so that they too can learn a lot on to trust their intuition.

    Thanks for the share.

      Hi Shantanu,

I love how you have connected trusting our intuition to know we can do something. That applies to me online with technical issued. I used to give up and put off doing tech things because I thought I could not do them. When I have pushed through I found I could.

Thank you for your comment and have a great day.

Here’s a quote from Nikola Tesla:

“Instinct is something that transcends knowledge.”

I have found that my gut instinct is correct 99% of the time. Sometimes when I try to use reason and logic to justify not listen to my gut instinct, I find out later that my I took the wrong decision/choice, and my instinct was in fact correct.

I am so glad that you listened to your gut and cancer really didn’t spread.

Sue, regarding your cancer, look up the book

I have had positive experience with IP6 and cancer. I can certainly share my experience with you on email if you are interested.

What an interesting topic. I have recently started substitute teaching after years away raising my kids. Boy, have things changed. Kids now are so focused on the reward/grade/like that they no longer take moments to feel…to soak things up…to listen to their inner voices. Intuition is a valuable thing and learning how to use that is truly a gift we need to be teaching the kids.

We travel with the kids and use that time to discuss culture and how we fit into the world. Mindfullness is something we are all trying to spend more time on.

      Hi Natalie,

Thanks for finding my blog and for your great comment. I can well imagine that kids are more focused on the grades etc. Sadly the world has become such a busy place many people do not focus on what is really going on.

Great that you are spending time on mindfulness with your kids. I also think traveling is such a great education for kids. Good on you.

      Have a great day.
