Today is the final in my series of Network Marketing Today. In my first 4 posts in the series I commenced with how the industry started, the history and it’s evolution. I then shared my own journey and why I now firmly believe there is no other opportunity for people from any walk of life to create a significant residual income.
In my video today I summarize this series and where I believe Network Marketing is today.

As Paul Zane Pilzer in The Next Millionaires said “Home based businesses are some of the fastest growing segments in our economy, and that trend will only continue, as the age of the corporation , which was began barely a century ago, now gives way to the age of the entrepreneur.”
We have come full circle to some extent. We are in the recommendation age. People are seeking recommendations from other people and do not want to be dictated or advertised “to” by large corporations.
Please leave me your comments below. I love hearing what you have to say. And please share this post with your Twitter and FB friends by clicking on the share buttons. I appreciate you telling others.

Hi Sue,
Wonderful video 🙂
I believe fully in the power of network marketing and feel like you that the time to be in it is now.
As you note personal development plays a part in network marketing. You must develop your mental tools while honing your physical tools. That’s some of what drew me into the industry. I enjoy inspiring others while working on myself continually so NM seemed like a natural match 🙂
Thanks for sharing your insight and have a wonderful day!

Hi Sue,
thanks for a powerful finish of an amazing series. Let’s face it: Even a 500 $ of extra income a month would prevent some people from filing bankruptcy. So it’s not only about the top earners, we can help a lot of people to own their lives.
I also love this industry, I came in touch with it exactly four years ago when the wife of one of my financial consulting clients gave me a CD set about a well-known, classical warm-market company. The entire CD was about making lists of friends and family.
So I ignored it – also because I was so proud of my successes in my financial consulting business.
So I became a network marketer only three years later, one year ago, following a heavy hitter. I left the company two months before they closed anyway…and I’m now building a solid business and am having fun doing it and helping people.
Thanks for sharing your insights.
Take care
Oliver

Hi Oliver
I agree with you that $500 extra could stop some people filing from bankruptcy. In fact here in Australia there were stats on this topic and the figure was quoted at a little less than that.
Your introduction and the fact you ignored the industry first is very common. I know so many people with similar stories. Now I think there is a lesson for us all of us in that. A “no” can mean “just not now”. My upline, who is a friend “dripped” on me for years. In the end I went to an event because I felt bad always saying no!
I am very glad your experience first off with the heavy hitter did not put you off the industry.
Thanks for all the great content you put out.

Sue~
I thank you for this wonderful series. I am amazed that some people can’t see the benefits of network marketing! I realize what’s been behind that opinion, as you said, network marketing really isn’t for everyone. I’m grateful that I can see the benefits!
Linda
ps. I look forward to finding out what comes next off the desk of Sue Price!
Sue says
Linda, like you I find it difficult to accept people not seeing the value of network marketing – but then I have to remind myself I did not get it right away. I have loved writing, videoing etc on this topic. It has strengthened my resolve to build my business.
Not sure what is next 🙂
Have a great weekend.

This has been a great series and very informative. I think we are definitely in the the recommendation age. I always ask friends for their recommendation when sourcing something new.

Belinda I have loved doing this series. It was fun digging back.
I agree with you about the recommendation age. I think we are all over the advertising big budgets and do ask friends.
Exciting times I think

Hi Sue,
I loved your video and feel that there is so much truth behind your message, and do feel that personal development and growth is crucial for you and your business to move forward. You and your business will be able to do this by not only educating yourself but sharing your knowledge and passion with others!
I am starting to read a book by Simon Sinek called “Start with Why” which is the number one reason that anyone does anything in life.
I look forward to hearing more from you in the days to come thank you!
Sue says
Hi Robert
Thanks for your feedback on my video. I am totally with you on sharing your knowledge and passion with others.
I must check out the book your are reading as I agree our “why” is critical to our success.
Have a great week.

Thanks for another great video and message Sue. You are so right about the personal development that comes with network marketing. When I embarked on network marketing I had no idea that I would also be embarking on this journey of personal development….a great bonus as far as I am concerned.
I’m sorry this is the end of this series….I have thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to your next topic.

Louise I am glad you enjoyed the series. I am sorry it is the end too as now I have to think of the next one 🙂
Seriously I have loved writing the series.
I think most people who join an MLM company have no idea they are signing up for a personal development journey. Some thrive on it and others run away – well that is my observation anyway 🙂
