This is the second part to How to Be the Best Version of You. I am sure you are like me and want to be the best you can be.
If you missed part one you can catch it here. How To Be The Best Version Of You.
At the end of 2015 I decided to identify areas in my life I wanted to improve by choosing words that I would embody into my life.
It is who we BE that comes first. We need to become the person who is successful.
We need to BE – then Do – so we can have the results and success in our lives we desire.
I shot a video for each word I chose.
In the first post I shared that I intend to be more resourceful and more joyful this year.
In this post I have two more words.
The first word is Enough
I Am Enough is what I mean and yes clearly that is more than one word.
Far too often we can get caught up thinking we are not enough. We do not have enough… enough time, enough money, enough resources and the list goes on.
You are enough and you have all you need to be successful right now.
You need simply to show up and be the best version of you.
My second word is Proactive
I knew I wanted to stop procrastinating in certain areas of my life. I searched for a word that was the opposite to procrastination and proactive was the best one I came up with.
So this year I will be proactive.
I encourage you to identify some words you can embody this year.
What areas in your life can you improve on?
Strive to be the best version of you each and every day.
Have an amazing day!
Namaste

Loved this Sue – You are Enough Is Sooo important..and Yes I have always been pro active – always finding solutions to problems.. thanks you

Thanks Helen I used to always be proactive but seemed to lose that part of me for a while. Being enough is where it is at really as when we have the wobbles it comes back to that.

Hello Sue and may I wish you every success in 2016.
Just loved your 2 posts about being the best you can be – thanks for sharing some personal aspects of your life. Inspirational stuff!
I am so pleased you included “more joyful” as one of your objectives as I truly believe if we approach our tasks of serving our target audiences with a sense of fun and enjoyment then we will be that much more engaging.
Being pro-active is a goal so many folks aim for yet fail at every year as they slowly let that dreaded proscrastination element creep into their lives. My simple solution to this is to have pinned to the wall in my workspace at home, my “WHY” – the reasons why I do the things I need to do everyday in order to achieve my mission in life – my why.
Whenever I start to feel a bit lazy (and that can be often in the hot days we experience here in Thailand!) and maybe think I can put off what I planned to do, just a quick look at my why and a photo of the village kids is enough to get me pro-active and back into action again.
My why is so simple yet so powerfully important to me and my family – to share whatever I can to help improve the education of the kids in our very poor village.
Have a great 2016 Sue and best wishes from a remote Thai village netrepreneur.

Hi Peter and a very happy 2016 to you.
I mostly share inspirational posts as it is such a bit part of my background. Interesting for a person who started out as a CPA. 🙂
I agree with what you say about having a sense of fun in our businesses as it sure is more attractive. I also believe we are on the planet to feel joy. I am sure given your lifestyle you experience a lot of joy.
I should pin my WHY up as well. That is a great idea. I am clear on mine but reading it frequently would be a nice addition for me. I love your Why by the way that is awesome.
I know what you mean about feeling a bit lazy some days. I do not live in Thailand but Noosa is a holiday resort town and this time of the year is full of tourists. I often feel like I just want to play.
I wish you a wonderful 2016 Peter and I hope you achieve all you set out to do.
Blessings,
Sue

Love this Sue because I too also believe that we all truly have so much value that we can bring to ourselves and to the world! Be and Do…is simple to remember that and also that we are enough. Always appreciate you sharing your incredible inspiration and value, Happy New You Year to you!
Sue Price says
Thank you Lynn for your comment and Happy New Year to you as well. I know it will be a great one. I appreciate you Lynn.

Sue, great post. Enough is about now, the presence. Proactive is the action verb about the now and the future. The end of the year is always a good time of reflection about what we did and what we want to do.
Sue Price says
Thanks Earl and enough is about presence for sure. I think most of us reflect at the end of the year Earl I know I always do. Making some changes is always a good thing if we need them. Thank you for your comment and Happy 2016!

What a great post, excellent idea. Thanks for sharing this valuable insight. In order to become the person we want to be….you have to start doing what that person does. BE DO HAVE.
Thanks for sharing.
Sue Price says
Thank you Hammond you are spot on. We can become the person we want to be right now. Thank you for your comment.

It’s always important to start becoming the absolutely best version of yourself in order to get the results you are looking for in the first place!

It sure is Danny and I see you doing that each and every day. Thank you for your comment Danny.

This is so valuable! Knowing that you’re enough. Enough to accomplish what you want in life. Don’t look outside yourself, it’s there within you already. I’m sure your messages will inspire so many people.
Sue Price says
It is sad that most people (and I have done it) look outside themselves. We have everything we need to achieve whatever we want right now. Thanks for your comment Sharon.
