The Evolution of Empower Network

Empower Network has evolved considerably since its inception almost three years ago.   Empower Network

The company has enjoyed amazing growth during that time.

When you really look at the evolution of Empower Network I am sure you will agree the story is quite remarkable.

There are many lessons from these three years that can be helpful for anyone growing a business.

Many company owners would have given up at the first challenges they faced but not David Wood and David Sharpe.

Empower Network has evolved once again and this week marks another tweak in direction for the company. The company continues to evolve and mature.

First things first – what is Empower Network?

Many people think of Empower Network as a blogging company, mainly as that is how it was positioned when the company started.

There are people in Empower Network who do not use the blog as it is just one product of the many that the company offers.

Empower Network is a transformational company.

It is all about the people.

The name came from the idea of “empowering people”

The products are a mixture of internet marketing training, offline marketing training and personal development.

The company was started by David Wood and David Sharpe. Due to ill-health David Sharpe has stepped down and now David Wood owns the company and has a very strong corporate team.

Is Empower Network a Network Marketing Company?

In essence yes it is a network marketing company.

It has some features of an affiliate marketing company and for a long time I thought it was a hybrid between the two.

I understand that the regulators have classified it as Network Marketing.

You do not need to be an affiliate to use the products and you can be part of another Network Marketing deal and also belong to Empower Network.

History and Lessons Learned

There were many challenges in the early days of Empower Network.

The two Dave’s had never run a company before and there were numerous learning experiences. They persevered and overcame the challenges one by one.

They had gathered a core group of leaders who stuck by them and this is an example of the importance of relationships in business. You need to have people around you have got your back.

When the company started they offered 100% commissions on all their products.

This resulted in many people using money as their main marketing thrust which did not create the most professional of images.

The products now offer between 50 – 100% commissions and the affiliates marketing has changed.

It takes time to change perceptions in the marketplace and a lesson here is to really think about how you want to be positioned.

Present day and the Future

Empower Network has a strong corporate team lead by CEO Jonathan Cronstedt which includes a compliance team.

Empower Network has come a long way in just under 3 years.

They are expanding their product range to include products that will appeal to a wider audience than just EN affiliates.

This week is launch week for a new product called Top Producer Formula.

The product is the first to be launched for the entire Network Marketing industry.

Top Producer Formula

Top Producer Formula

David Wood has created this product.  He has been the top producer of four network marketing companies prior to starting Empower Network.

The product is designed to teach anyone how to be a top producer.

Dave was once homeless, broke, and living in a 1996 green dodge caravan on the north shore of Oahu Hawaii… to…..
… Dave now has a team of over 300,000 customers, 40,000 affiliates, and has paid them over $130,000,000 in commission. (results not typical you can see income disclosure here)

Top Producer Formula  itself is available at a discounted price until Saturday 23rd August. If you are reading this after that date you will still be able to purchase the product for the full price.

The launch is kicking off with a live webcast on Saturday 23rd August. You can get details here . I encourage you to learn from the master recruiter.

Top Producer Formula is for anyone who is in affiliate marketing, direct sales, real-estate, insurance, retail or anything that requires a sale before you get paid.

That is a little about the new product and an update of Empower Network.

    Loved the summary Sue,

I have only been in empower for a short time in comparison and cannot believe the support from people all over the world, the personal development modules and the best is the step by step instructions in many of the trainings.
Thankyou Sue for your ongoing assistance and inspiration to me.
Have a great Sue and enjoy the weekend

      Hi Di

It is an amazing community. That is one thing that has been constant. Systems and the way they do things have evolved but the people have always been supportive and that of course comes from the top.

Thanks for your comment here Di.

You too have a great weekend. I will be getting up very early Sunday morning. 🙂

    Hi Sue!

Wow…so much has happened in Empower in just three years! I have so many friends there and they are loving it.

I keep my eye on many business models and see that Empower is growing and so are their members.

Although lots of folks won’t touch the “E” word, I do because it is a business. I do respect all the changes for the better that they have gone through. Talk about persistence!

    Great article Sue!

      Hi Donna

I know you have many friends in Empower. I love how they have evolved into something so much more professional. And yes even their critics would have to give them points for persistence 🙂

Thanks for your comment Donna. Have a great weekend.

Boy had Empower Network come a long way. I remember when you first wrote about them. It is good see that the company is still going strong and they are not fly by nights. There are lessons to be learned that persistence does pay off.

    1. Sue Price Post author

      Hi Arleen,

They have come a very long way and really I think many people would not have been so persistent. I am enjoying them become more professional. When they started they had no clue what running a company meant.

      Thanks for your comment Arleen.

Sue, congratulations for finding something you love doing, and a community you love being a part of. I’d like to know, however, why this company has gotten such a bad rap. Can you share that, please?

    1. Sue Price Post author

      Hi Lorraine

It has very much become home for me.

I can answer why they got such a bad rap. When they started it was all about the money and making 100% commissions. That attracted people who were spamming everywhere. The merchant they were using pulled out and their servers kept crashing. All these things put many people off. They did not have a compliance team or customer support.

I always got their heart though and the vision. I did not market it in the beginning as I was not sure they would pull through the challenges but they have. Now they have close to 100 staff and some top professionals in there.

The thing is as you know though once a company gets a bad reputation it takes time to get past it.

Thanks for your comment and for asking this question Lorraine.

    Hi Sue,

You know what, I’ve joined a system that allows me to make some extra money to be able to free myself from my job (very soon I hope) and focus 100% on my business, and one of the things that they promote is Empowered Network.

However, for the moment I didn’t hop for that yet, I’m doing another thing of theirs that’s easier for me, but as you said that’s how I learned that Empowered Network is not only about those blog things.

Thanks for telling us all about it.

      Hi Sylviane

Good on you for joining something to help you become free of your job. May I ask what it is. I am familiar with several systems that back-end into Empower.

Empower Network is really about personal development more than anything. Sure it has a blog and training on all types of internet marketing but at the end of the day it is a network marketing type company with an aim to help people transform.

Thanks for visiting me and for your comment Sylviane.

    Hi Sue,

I’m glad you’re giving an update on the Empower Network as when it first came out and for quite some time after, it seemed that it was really negative. Now that you’ve explained it’s growth it seems more like a legitimate network marketing company.

I heard so many negative things earlier, I never really looked into it so I’m glad you explained the changes the company has gone through to improve not only the inner workings, but it’s image as well.

Thanks for keeping us posted on the Empower Network journey and it’s direction. It’s very enlightening.

    Thanks so much.

      Hi Barbara

It sure did get a lot of negative attention when it started. The funny thing is they decided they were not network marketing but the more they have devolve they are exactly that with a bit of a twist.

I am very happy they now have strong compliance because as we know without it these companies will not stay in business. I am grateful David Wood has been able to make corrections along the way.

Thanks for your comment Barbara. I hope your weeks has started well.
